3M™ Cartridge/Filter 60928 was designed specifically for protection against Methyl Bromide. The 3M™ Cartridge/Filter 60928 is NIOSH approved against certain organic vapours, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen fluoride and particulates.
 
3M™ Cartridge/Filter 60928 is approved for use with 3M™ Half and Full Facepiece Respirators that use bayonet attachments. This mask is recommended for use against methyl bromide at ambient concentrations up to 5 ppm and for not more than one shift. For methyl bromide soil fumigants containing chloropicrin, 3M recommends a half facepiece respirator with gas-proof goggles or a full facepiece respirator. The P100 filter has greater than 99.97% filtration efficiency against a 0.3 micrometer (Mass Median Diameter) dioctyl phthalate (DOP) aerosol. The cartridge and filter are effective against particulate aerosols including radionuclides and radon daughters attached to particulate aerosols.
