Superior's Endura® chainsaw gloves are as comfortable, dexterous and good looking as a pair of our mechanics gloves, but feature an eight-layer lining of Kevlar® on the back of the left hand, a specific chain-arrest woven Kevlar® that provides a level of cut resistance designed to withstand a chainsaw running at 3140 feet per minute. This meets the EN 381:1999 Class 0 for chainsaw cuts. Other features include water-repellent, smooth, grain goatskin leather palms with built-in anti-vibration reinforcement. This improves wear while substantially reducing vibration transfer to the hand. Elasticized Velcro wrists improve comfort, while keeping out debris. Backs are made with stretchy nylon/Lycra fabric, laminated with a water-repellent breathable membrane to keep hands dry.
Kevlar® is a registered trademark of E.I. du Pont de Nemours and Company.
“The gloves are a bright yellow, so you do not lose them if you put them down in the bush. They have 8 layers of a chain-stopping specific Kevlar. They all in all were super comfortable to work with. The anti-vibration pads were quite helpful. No buzzing or numbness from the saw being in my hand all day. The gloves’ leather palm was also great as a general work glove, for moving felled logs, and gripping them when wet and dry. I never felt as if the glove was sliding off or I was going to lose my grip. With these Endura gloves you can feel reassured knowing that you will have the protection you need, when you need it.” –Chris A., Damn-Yak Dry Goods Company
